Google & Beyond

As a search engine, Google gathers, organizes and indexes a multitude of information from the Internet, then makes this information available to online search audiences through a simple process of inputting keywords, terms or phrases in a search box and then presenting a list of websites and pages that correspond to those search words.

What we call “natural search results” appear in the main body of content on the left-hand side of the search results page and your websites ranking in these results is dependent on how well your site has been “optimised” for search engines. Google doesn’t accept payment to place websites in the natural search results. However, advertisers can purchase Google AdWords, which appear on the right side of the search results page this is referred to as “paid search results”.
